For Jeff Bakke, years haven’t been split into seasons. Rather, the calendar is divided by sports. In an era where more and more athletes seem to be specializing in a sport or two, Bakke prefers variety. For the 2006 Grand Forks Red River High School, it hasn’t been spring, summer, fall and winter. Instead, it’s track (spring), baseball (summer), tennis (fall) and hockey (winter).
