New Boston sports site, WickedPissahSports.com — set to launch on September 1, 2006 — has officially jumped onboard the petition to rename the NFL’s “Comeback Player of the Year Award.” The petition, which will be sent to the NFL Commissioner’s Office, aims to rename the award the “Tedy Bruschi Comeback Player of the Year Award,” in honor of the great New England Patriots linebacker’s comeback last year.
