Democrats want end of sports authority (Rochester Democrat and Chronicle)
Democrats in the Monroe County Legislature are wondering why the sports authority still exists and are calling for it to be abolished. The Republican-controlled Legislature is expected to take up the proposal early next month, but doesn’t appear supportive of the idea.
