Box Vandiver led a simple life in the small community of Trenton in Paint Rock Valley, where he lived most of his 80 years. But the valedictorian of the Paint Rock Valley High School Class of 1945 had a variety of interests, including his church, family, friends, sports, vehicles and tools.
